IPTouch Policy Guidelines: Protect the IPT Path
IPT is not responsible for individual state regulations concerning animal massage
  • Participants should review this information as needed. However IPT’s position is always “Animal Rescue through Educational Knowledge”.
  • IPT programs used for outside care of your OWN pets may require veterinarian referral, animal massage insurance, or other educational requirements depending on your state laws.
  • Knowledge about your state’s legalities concerning Kennel Technicians, Veterinarian Technicians, and Veterinarian Assistants vary. IPT is wonderful for all of these settings, however may require more educational knowledge when working with medical or surgical pets. Direct supervised veterinarian care may be indicated.
  • Licensed Veterinarians in good standing with the Nevada State Veterinarian Board are always welcome to observe ALL IPT educational workshops & animal care sessions with pet owner’s verification.

Performing out of scope training protocols will void all IPT certification and liability insurance policies.
  • State legalities will differ for Animal Massage. It is YOUR responsibility to follow these guidelines.
  • This includes modalities, tools other than hands, following inappropriate veterinarian instruction, nutritional and herbal guidance ect...
  • I understand that wellness checkups with a veterinarian may be indicated prior to and or following IPT.
  • I understand that I may NOT add terminology to IPTouch programs as this is a copywrite infringement. Only said owner may create said curriculum updates and changes.
Copying IPT materials for purposes other than self study is illegal & may facilitate a lawsuit against said party.
  • Do not copy actual IPT AMCP course materials for other pet owners. Let them work as hard for this great Animal journey as you are willing to do!
  • I understand teaching IPT programs outside of instructor/owner knowledge will void my IPT certification and create possible legal action.
  • I understand articles, marketing booths, TV interviews, ect. referring to IPT Animal Massage will need prior clearance from IPT.
  • All IPT concepts and logo(s) are owned by IPT.
  • Only certified AMCPs have access to logo use.
IPT reserves the right to revoke and or suspend class participation and or certification privileges due to error or inappropriate behavior of said provider.
  • Due to participant slander.
  • Risk to any other parties such as practicum sites, and educational support organizations.
  • If legal actions should arise through IPT action; IPT will assess these cost factors and make all attempts at collection from said party.
  • Certified graduates CANNOT proceed with community AMCP protocols without proper certification educational standards such as continuing education, your state regulations and general business licensing as indicated.
IPT is not responsible for safety or medical issues that may occur during IPT participation.
  • I understand working with Animals is unpredictable and challenging.
  • Animal and SELF SAFETY is the responsibly of the IPT student.
  • IPT courses are for independently motivated peaceful humans.
  • Working with animals is more challenging than working with humans due to communication differences.
  • Pregnancy and or lack of your own general exercise program, and emotional peace may prove this course to be fatiguing and unsafe.
I understand that the information shared in no way takes the place of a veterinarian’s expertise or diagnostic skills.
  • I do not hold IPT responsible for decisions or conclusions I arrive at in the event of a medical event requiring veterinarian assistance.
  • IPT is not a replacement for medical care and wellness checkups with a veterinarian may be indicated prior to and or following IPTouch.
  • AMCP practitioners are trained to understand basic contraindications and precautions and are expected to use this knowledge through veterinarian conversation as indicated.
  • AMCP practitioners SHOULD guide owners to having a stronger wellness relationship with their pet’s Dr.
IPT AMCPs CANNOT council in nutritional or herbal concepts without veterinarian guidance and pre-patient assessment.
  • This is veterinarian expertise and considered medical management.
  • IPT is not for diagnostic purposes, but for the general comfort and well-being of animals.
  • AMCPs spend hands-on time with dis-ease, NOT pathological disease unless directly advised by a veterinarian.
Students are responsible for their own independent animal access for continued studies.
  • Rescue sites, your babies, friends, stables…
  • Some course items and information must be purchased and researched by the IPT student.
  • Restraining animals during IPTouch hands-on care is CONTRAINDICATED.
  • Owners- Handlers should be available for IPTouch sessions and given ‘homework’ to continue IPT pet responsibilities.
I understand there is a NO REFUND policy once IPT has begun sending course supplies.
  • Your proceeds have already been donated to an animal rescue facility of IPT’s choice.
I understand I am responsible for notifying IPT & community clients concerning my states legal requirements for animal massage protocols.
  • Business licensing permits
  • Animal handler permits if indicated
  • Liability coverage
  • Continuing education requirements
Computerized instructor communication is required for continued AMCP activities.
  • Your general computer skills must be up to date as class activities are also on-line.
  • This is a self-interactive program. Instructor support is through computer access, Email, & internet abilities.
  • IPT is not responsible for your computer glitches, however students are responsible for IPT’s ability to open and read course work.
  • Students may need to supply: Digital Camera (throw away Kodak is fine) or, Camcorder access (rentals are available), Internet, Email access, web cam ability, printing ability and some additional course materials for your “Animal Library” as outlined within AMCP course materials.
  • IPT reserves the rights to change and update course materials, fee structure and scheduling as deemed necessary.
  • Private student needs other than direct program topics during in class time, must be discussed via Email (or private instructor appointment). PS…NO SAD PET STORIES ALLOWED.
Following AMCP graduation I understand I must have individual liability insurance and a separate company name to begin IPT practice for profit IPTouch in the community.
  • Refer to www.animalmassagecare.com for more information.
  • I understand I will use the “IPT Animal Massage & Care Provider” title only as my technique specialty I have trained in, but my own company name will be filed under a different title.
  • I understand “certification” means completion of said course. My goal of learning IPT information is for animal wellness and any other endeavors I choose to follow are of my own decisions.
  • I am independently responsible for future IPT activities, employment experiences and or volunteer time with animals following the completion of the AMCP program and protocols.
I understand and accept protocols for AMCP IPT re-certification.
  • Education and or case study submissions.
  • Volunteer for class assistance
  • IPT PetAID-CPR recertification
  • Community IPTouch Insurance up to date. ( MT can submit preexisting coverage information)
  • Business licensing as required for said region.
IPT’s goal is ‘Animal Rescue through Educational Knowledge’.
  • Rescue Sites are ALWAYS a place IPTouch should be found!
  • Now get out there and use this information to change YOUR state laws and speak for the animals and their rights to Animal Massage & Care.
  • It takes a village to love animals. SPREAD THE IPT WORD!
IPT Statement of Academic Integrity: I am solely responsible for all of my own individual course work.
  • I will not plagiarize items I find on the Internet.
  • I agree to the IPT AMCP Polices as outlined above and am ready to begin my AMCP Journey!
Pets IN Class Room Protocols
  • Shots up to date.
  • Dogs & Cats that attend IPT AMCP class activities must be neutered or spayed.
  • Pets must be groomed, brushed & clean prior to class access.
  • An open topped (short) exercise pen with a large blanket (as opposed to the carpet) is required for pets that attend classes. These private IPT areas need to be large enough for a human to sit comfortably inside with them.
  • Pets (kitties also) must be safely on harnessed leashes or ‘Gentle Lead Haltys’ (no neck collar leashing) ect. at all times when out of exercise pens.
  • We cannot have water or food readily available on the floor. Class is short enough with enough breaks to share these needs outside, somewhat away from the building and walkways.
  • Potty time is away from the building (bring a poop bag!)
  • ALL small species of pets are welcome, however if you feel your pet needs much of your attention, you may find it best to absorb lecture materials with a stuffed animal for the time being. (I myself have this issue. As you can see my own pets do not attend my classes when I teach AMCP).
  • Pet greetings with other pets will need direct owner supervision.
  • Pet owners must be on site with their own pets during class time.
  • Out of town participants will be assisted in the above areas.
